Dashi Broth Directions

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 packets
  • 2-2.5 cups of water

Directions:

  1. One packet in 2 cups water (400 ml) for soups and miso soups, or two packets in 2.5 cups water (500 ml) for stews, noodle soups, hot pot dishes. Place water and unopened packet(s) in saucepan.  Bring water to simmer over medium heat, and hold temperature for 2-3 minutes. 
  2. Remove and discard packet(s).  Stock is ready to use.
